We live in Brookswood, and last November the motor on our old furnace burned out. We called in technicians - there was no point in repairing it, since the system itself was 18 years old. Someone immediately tried to sell "what was left in the warehouse", without even asking what kind of house we had. And someone, on the contrary, asked about everything: square footage, number of floors, layout, insulation, even how many people live in the house and what kind of living arrangements. We chose Langley Home Comfort. They really approached us in a humane way. A technician came, measured everything, then we discussed the options together: they suggested Carrier, Bryant and Trane. At first I was leaning towards Trane, but it turned out to be significantly more expensive and did not win much in terms of characteristics. We took Bryant — a two-stage one with good efficiency and a 10-year warranty (though we had to register on the manufacturer's website within 60 days, so don't forget if you buy something similar). What I liked was that the installation went very smoothly. The guys weren't in a hurry to "do it and run away", they spent the whole day, but they did everything as needed: they leveled the block, reconnected the ventilation, checked the gas pressure. Then they spent another half an hour showing how the thermostat works (we took a smart model from ecobee to control it via phone). And yes, the stove is really quiet, heats evenly, you can now sleep in the bedroom without additional heaters.
